St. Jacques Fremin
Jacques Fremin 1628-1691 Missioner. Born in Rheims, France on March 12, he became a Jesuit in 1646 and in 165 was sent to the Indian missions in Canada. He worked among the Onondagas, Cayugas, and Mohawks, established the first Catholic settlement in Vermont on Isle La Motte and brought what comfort he could to captured Hurons everywhere. He made 10,000 converts in his lifetime and after 1670 was in charge of the Christian Indian settlement at La Prairie, near Montreal. Except for journeys to France seeking aid for the missions, he served in Canada until his death at Quebec on July 2.

I would like to see the Feast Day for St Jacques Fremin included in the description.
My teenager was fascinated with the story of this saint especially with his standing up for the American Indians even through imprisonment (apparently comforting the captured Hurons was literally while being imprisoned with them in the "prison" compound).
