"He was the successor of St. Corentin in the see of Tuimper."

With all due respect, the see of Saint Corentin was not 'Tuimper' but Quimper. (This is a spelling or typing error, I am sure).

Quimper is a beautiful medieval city in the Finistère, the département in the extreme west of Brittany. The city has long been the seat of the Bishops of Quimper (now Bishops of Quimper-Leon), the first of whom was Saint Corentin.
